Color Me, NOT!

As the temperature begins to drop, many people are getting into their winter wear! Winter Wear? Its not good to think that the only colors to for the winter are black and grey folks. Don't be that person showing up at the Christmas party not looking "hott" cause all you even thought about wearing was those black pants and the black sweater you wore to last year's party.

This year there are a lot of vibrant colors on the runway. Lately, I've seen scarfs, gloves, and cute hats in yellows, oranges, and even lime green. Now, that's taken what we have been told about colors and totally going against what's the "norm" some would say. Today, on my way from Sunday morning mass, I over heard two young ladies on the F train heading from uptown chatting about what they were going to look for on 34th street today! I smiled enormously when one of the young ladies only hoped to find a cashmere sweater that wasn't fuschia, blue, black or beige. Of course, while exiting the train I had to suggest they find those cashmere sweaters, because they do exist. I am not the type to suggest a store although I do shop for men, women, kids and homes (haha) when I am out and about! So, when I do see something nice and know that someone may be looking for that item or something similar, I encourage them to stop into said store.

The conversation was hillarious and I had to come and share. So, look good and feel warm while it's cold out!

Why miss "out"

Don't miss out on the good times with your friends because you were in the office late and it was impossible to get home to change. There are many outfits that should only motivate going out after a long day in the office.
I work at a place where my organuzation's get-up isn't allowed or even appropiate in a place where one might want to "party", but my colleagues and I have found ways to make it work. Sometimes it's as easy as removing the tie and jacket and unbuttoning the top button. Ladies might find it difficult to dress down a high-waist skirt and a nice top, but it's so easy ladies and it's actually dressing up. Custome jewery and the party clutches speaks volume when sprucing up an outfit and making it to the staff holiday party.
Think of it this way, it's cheap, efficient, and the way to go! Everybody is doing it I am just encouraging you to do it too!
With this blog, I plan on showcasing outfits out and around cities that are classy, sassy, and professional. Keeping viewers up on what's hot to wear to the spot. Stay tuned!
